What to expect from a PGS appraisal
An appraisal starts with understanding what you have and what you need to decide. Depending on the item and purpose, PGS specialists can review condition, authenticity, precious-metal content, rarity, and collector demand.
For a straightforward in-store visit, ask about a free verbal appraisal. For a larger collection, estate, or other detailed request, contact PGS to discuss the appropriate service before you arrive.
- Gather the coins, jewelry, bullion, or other items you want reviewed.
- Share what you know about the item’s history, markings, paperwork, or prior grading.
- Ask questions while the team explains the factors that may affect the evaluation.
