PAYMENTS

We ONLY accept PayPal and cash (local customers).

SHIPPING

U.S. Domestic Shipping

Standard U.S. domestic shipping is via USPS first-class package mail. Expedited shipping is available upon request prior to shipping. Prices vary depending on value, weight, destination, and service level.

International Shipping

International shipping is done through the eBay Global Shipping Program. Some restrictions may apply. We do not ship to all countries. Please refer to each listing for specific countries that we ship to.

Insurance

All shipments over $100 require a signature verification upon delivery. We can offer insurance on any shipped item; however, this must be arranged in advance and is at an additional cost. If insurance is applied, and a package does not arrive or is damaged in transit, please contact us in order to initiate an insurance claim. Insurance claims cannot be filed until 45 days after shipment and will require a signed written declaration of nonreceipt or damage from the buyer, along with pictures and written explanations, as applicable.

Local Pickup

Local pickup is available at our Palatine IL location. Payment must be completed prior to pickup. Please contact the main office to arrange for pickup.

Returns

To initiate an item return, send us a message through eBay. Refunds are issued when items are received in original packaging and condition. Buyer is responsible to pay return shipping costs. Any restocking fee assessed with the item’s return will be deducted from the purchase price amount refunded to the buyer.

Returns of bullion items or any items valued based on fluctuating prices are NOT ACCEPTED. Buyers must bid responsibly.

Raw Coins, Authenticity, Condition

We guarantee AUTHENTICITY ONLY.  We do not offer grades on raw coins nor guarantee grades on raw coins.

Product Display/Colors

PGS Gold & Coin and American Coin Collectors attempt to display product images shown on the site as accurately as possible. However, we cannot guarantee that the color you see matches the product color, as the display of the color depends, in part, upon the monitor you are using.

Use of Stock Images

We often have multiple quantities available of many of our most popular products. As a result we often use “stock images” to represent the actual product. When a “stock image” is used to merchandise a product, that use will be disclosed as follows:  The “stock images” used in this description are an indicator of the quality of the item you will receive. The actual item you will receive is guaranteed to be as described and depicted.

Errors and Omissions

Prices and availability of products and services are subject to change without notice. Errors will be corrected where discovered, and PGS Gold & Coin and American Coin Collectors reserve the right to revoke any stated offer and to correct any errors, inaccuracies, or omissions including after an order has been submitted and whether or not the order has been confirmed.

Pre-Owned Vintage U.S. Mint Products

Except for current year products, nearly all of our U.S. Mint products have been previously owned. Unless otherwise disclosed, all of our U.S. Mint products come with their complete original packaging. We inspect all pre-owned U.S. Mint products prior to offering them for sale. We only sell sets that have passed our inspection; the coins are typically free of excessive hazing, spotting, or distracting toning. While the items are typically in very good condition for their age, these vintage products are not new.

Bullion Products

Orders for bullion products cannot be cancelled or returned for any reason. All precious metals bullion product prices fluctuate constantly, and prices may go up or down after your purchase. Price adjustments will not be made after your purchase commitment is locked-in regardless of subsequent price increases or decreases. Bullion coins, bars, and rounds are mass-produced and are not manufactured to the same quality standards as collector coins. Bullion items are often shipped from the mint in bulk rolls, tubes, or bags, and even freshly minted items will have imperfections.

Precious Metals-Based Product Pricing

All precious metals-based product prices fluctuate constantly and prices may go up or down after your purchase. Price adjustments will not be made after your purchase commitment is locked-in regardless of subsequent price increases or decreases, and no refunds or exchanges may be made for any reason.
