Odoo Developer with Python Skill for ERP Development

Pay: $80,000 to $90,000 per year

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented ERP Developer with strong Python programming skills to join our Growing Company. In this role, you will be responsible for planning, developing, customizing and coding of our Odoo ERP System.

This position requires a person who has a very solid business sense, and is very experienced with the Coding Languages and Structure Development of ERPs systems.

Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize our existing Odoo ERP database to support business operations, ensuring data integrity and performance.
• Automate routine tasks and data workflows using Odoo and other systems.
• Design user-friendly interfaces within Odoo to facilitate easy data entry and reporting for end-users.
• Maintain and backup our Odoo Database.
• Implement a security best practices functionality in our existing Odoo Database.
• Integrate APIs and other integration services into our existing Odoo Database.
• Conduct testing and troubleshooting of database development to ensure seamless functionality.
• Plan, Develop, Customize and hard code our new Odoo ERP System for new and improved Forms, Queries and Reports, using Python and JS and other languages.

Requirements

• Proven experience developing complex ERP Databases with a strong understanding of all coding languages required.
• Proficiency in Python programming for automation, data processing, and system integration tasks.
• Familiarity with ERP systems, and Business Flows.
• Familiarity with Purchase Orders, Sales Orders, Processing, QC, Inventory,
• Auditing, Accounting and CRM System.
• Familiarity with Forms, Fields, Queries, Modules, Reports and the skill level to make major changes and updates to the Odoo Database Systems.
• Familiarity with software development methodologies including Agile practices.
• Hands-on experience working with version control systems like GitHub or SVN for collaborative project management.
• Understanding of IT infrastructure components including cloud platforms like
• AWS or Azure, Google Workspace environments, and application deployment processes.
• Experience working with MySQL or other relational databases alongside SQL optimization techniques.
• Experience with Integration of Odoo ERP with our E-Commerce Website for Inventory, Sales and all other standard functionality.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities simultaneously.
• Strong communication skills to collaborate with others.
• You MUST be located within 15 miles of our Palatine Store or be willing to relocate.
• This is an inhouse position. There may be some flexibility in the future for part time Remote Work.
• Expected hours: No less than 50 per week.
